Description

High school initiative in Guilford County (North Carolina, USA) aimed at introducing young people early to the agri-food sector. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on learning in crop and livestock production, animal care, and agricultural technologies through on-site facilities and practical activities. It connects students with educational and career pathways in agriculture, building technical and management skills that support further studies or help them get involved in the agricultural value chain, while helping close skills gaps, encourage youth participation in agriculture, and improve the sector’s long-term prospects.
