Protected areas for sustainable and inclusive conservation

The degradation and fragmentation of ecosystems reduce the quality and availability of environmental services, affecting present and future well-being. In response, and in line with its commitment as the region's green bank, CAF finances and mobilizes resources to strengthen protected natural areas in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its goal is to promote inclusive and environmentally responsible economic development that does not compromise future generations.
