Description

Deep ethnic divides persist in Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly pronounced in rural areas, disproportionately affecting Indigenous peoples and women. This document analyzes the current situation and persistent inequalities faced by Indigenous peoples in the region and presents the guidelines of the Community Roots Program (PAC), aimed at improving the living conditions of rural Indigenous communities through collective strategies that recognize and value the sociocultural characteristics of each group.
