Decent work and Youth in Latin America: Policies for Action

Technical report by the International Labour Organization (ILO) that analyzes the situation of youth employment in the rural areas of Latin America and the Caribbean. It assesses the scale of the decent work deficit among young people seeking to enter agricultural activities, as well as the structural gaps that restrict their access to formal employment in the agricultural sector. The report also reviews the policies implemented in the region and proposes evidence-based actions to promote youth labor inclusion in farming and to strengthen public employment policies for rural areas.
