It broadens the focus beyond agriculture to examine the situation of women in all sectors of the system, highlighting that gender equality and women's empowerment are key to achieving sustainable and resilient agri-food systems. Based on data from the last decade, the document identifies progress, highlights which strategies work, and offers concrete recommendations to reduce gender gaps and enhance inclusive development.
