This paper explores the challenges and strategies for promoting cassava industrialization in Colombia. It highlights structural bottlenecks in production and processing, such as limited technological innovation, poor infrastructure, and weak coordination between growers and processors. It proposes strategic actions including value-added product development, technology transfer, and policy incentives to integrate smallholders into industrial supply chains, enhance productivity, and boost rural income diversification.
