IncluirTec: Rural Financial Inclusion in Colombia

IncluirTec – Colombia is an AgFintech initiative that promotes financial inclusion and rural productive development through a fully digital platform composed of three modules: Administrator, which monitors and configures operations; Advisor, which allows loan applications to be processed in the field even without an internet connection; and Self-service, which enables users to start and complete their credit requests from a mobile device or computer. This design streamlines processes, lowers operational costs, and enhances data quality for financial institutions. By 2023, the initiative had facilitated more than 35,000 credit applications, 78 percent of which came from producers with less than five hectares, reaching 556 municipalities across Colombia. Its approach supports poverty eradication, food security, innovation, reduction of inequalities, and the strengthening of sustainable communities, fully aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
