CAN General Secretariat and IICA Inaugurate Situational Room and Andean Agricultural Policy Observatory

The General Secretariat of the Andean Community (CAN) and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) inaugurated in Lima the Situational Room and the Andean Observatory of Public Policies for Agri-Food Systems (OPSAa Andino). This new platform aims to strengthen regional integration and support the member countries—Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru—by monitoring and analyzing agricultural policies, facilitating the exchange of strategic information, and generating evidence-based recommendations to foster a more competitive, sustainable, and food-secure agriculture.
