Description
In July 2022, the National Youth Seminar 2022 was held in Costa Rica to raise awareness and motivate public and private officials about the occupational situation of rural youth, especially in the coffee sector. Organized by UNED, ICAFE, MAG, RELASER, and RELAIPOJUR, the event brought together extension agents, public officials, academics, and young entrepreneurs to share research, experiences, and successful projects related to generational integration and strengthening capacities in rural youth. The seminar highlights Costa Rica's high youth unemployment rate and emphasizes the importance of creating more job opportunities for this population group.
