Infrastructure Challenges for Youth

The National Youth Institute (INJUVE) participated in the Regional Symposium on Care Infrastructure, presenting the challenges and experiences of public infrastructure for the comprehensive development of youth. Initiatives such as La Casa de los Pibxs (The House of Children and Youth Centers) and Casas de Juventudes (Youth Centers) were presented, highlighting the importance of these spaces for youth inclusion and well-being. The event, organized by the Ministry of Public Works, sought to consolidate care infrastructure as a right, reduce gender, age, and territorial gaps, and strengthen services for youth, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities, with a significant investment in inclusive public works.
