Youth: Unfinished Business: Youth Studies in Latin America and the Caribbean (Bolivia)
Technical report
21/07/2025
Description
The report reveals that Bolivian youth are dissatisfied with democracy, the economy, and their job opportunities, although they retain hope in voting as a means of change. The majority identify with a centrist ideological stance and support agendas such as environmental protection and social rights. While there is low trust in political parties and institutions, young people are opting for alternative forms of participation, such as volunteering and social activism. The study highlights the need for public policies that address their demands and strengthen their role in democracy.
