The First Regional Meeting of Rural and Peasant Youth for Agrarian Reform concluded successfully.

The first Regional Meeting of Rural and Peasant Youth in Duitama brought together 120 young people from Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Santander, and Casanare to develop public policy for rural youth in Colombia. Led by the Ministries of Agriculture and the Interior, with support from regional entities, the meeting promoted the active participation of young farmers in the development of strategies that integrate their issues and proposals into the agricultural sector. Rural cultural and economic identity was strengthened, and a youth representative was elected to the Boyacá Departmental Agrarian Reform Committee, promoting political and social impact in the countryside.
