Description

This article critically examines the social and political drivers of technoscientific development in Brazilian agriculture, highlighting Embrapa’s role. Through two case studies: the tropical adaptation of carrots and participatory research on non-conventional vegetables, it shows how environmental context, global-local dynamics, and industrial vs. agroecological approaches shape agricultural innovation.
