Evaluation Methodologies for Circular Economy in Municipal Composting and Urban Agriculture: a Literature Review with Focus on Latin America

Circular Economy (CE) offers an alternative to the linear economic model but requires robust methodologies to assess its implementation, particularly in municipal composting systems linked to urban agriculture in Latin America. This review highlights the lack of structured methodologies that integrate environmental, social, economic, and circularity dimensions in complex urban contexts. It emphasizes the need to develop models tailored to the realities of the Global South to advance effective CE implementation.
