This technical report analyzes the evolution of international trade of dairy products in Central America during the period 2005-2024, including future projections. The document presents statistical data on regional milk production, which shows sustained growth from 3,110 million kilograms in 2005 to 4,332 million in 2023, with a coefficient of determination R² = 0.9569. It examines in detail the behavior of total imports, both regional and extra-regional, evidencing a significant increase in the volume of imports equivalent to fluid milk (ELF) of 412 million kilograms and a value of 1,325 million dollars in 2024. The analysis includes the importance of establishing harmonized regulations to facilitate intraregional trade and improve the competitiveness of the Central American dairy sector.
