The nutritional and economic value of a glass of milk and plant-based beverages. (ES)

A recent study conducted between March and April 2023 by researchers at the University of El Salvador recorded the prices and nutritional composition of different brands and presentations of fluid milk, as well as various plant-based beverages offered in supermarkets in the metropolitan region of San Salvador. Information was collected on 22 types of milk, including whole milk, semi-skimmed milk, skimmed milk, and lactose-free milk.
