Description

This document presents a detailed analysis of public policies supporting the agricultural and fisheries sector in El Salvador during the 2018-2022 period, using the OECD's Producer Support Estimates (PSE) methodology. The study quantifies levels of government support through policies that influence prices received by producers and budgetary transfers to the sector. The research examines the linkage between these support policies and greenhouse gas emissions, providing indicators that allow comparison between years and productive items. The analysis contributes to understanding how agricultural policies impact both sectoral productivity and climate change in El Salvador.
