Description

Family farming can be seen as a fabric that sustains life, as feeding oneself is one of the most sensitive and important acts for every being living on this planet. The work of thousands of families in Ecuador maintains this fabric and slows the effects of capitalism's systemic crises. This fabric is also part of the care of other territorial actors, who, over time, have given it its different nuances. This study presents the state of the territories and their families who preserve our food supply, many of whom, through their practices, strive to provide us with healthy and nutritious food.
