IICA's path towards the 2021 Food Systems Summit

Relevant topics are addressed within the framework of the Food Systems Summit to understand its general characteristics and the insertion of agriculture, the region and IICA in the general dynamics. The objectives of the United Nations Food Systems Summit, the way in which the Summit is organized to achieve its results, promote technical and political dialogues and for implementation. In addition, IICA's objective for the Summit is presented and its strategy to support the effective participation of Latin America and the Caribbean. On the other hand, it defines what the systems are and what their contributions are to the 2030 Agenda and its link to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
