Description

The roasting process and marketing can represent up to 90% of the final price of coffee, while farmers, who do the hardest work in growing and harvesting, receive only 2.5% of the total value. This disparity reflects the profound inequalities in the coffee value chain, where small producers face minimal profit margins in contrast to the final links in the industry.
