Description

The presentation discusses how European Union spatial data, specifically from the Copernicus program, can support the coffee industry in complying with the EU's EU Deforestation Free Regulation (EUDR). It examines the use of satellite imagery for geolocation, deforestation assessment and traceability in the coffee supply chain. The presentation highlights the importance of collaboration between earth observation service companies and coffee chain actors to meet the sustainability requirements of the EUDR.
