MIDAGRI conducts training in the use of the Digital Identity application with the support of members of the Cocoa, Forests and Diversity Agreement to promote georeferencing.

Forty-eight extensionists and field promoters from producer organizations, the public sector and civil society were trained in the use of the new mobile application “Identidad Digital”. This application allows quick and easy plotting of plot polygons (georeferencing), so that deforestation-free certificates can be generated in the near future; a key requirement for the new European Union regulation on deforestation.
