Description

Latin America and the Caribbean contribute 14% of world food production. Its new regional mission is to promote the necessary transformation of agri-food systems to feed 10 billion people in 2050. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused an unprecedented setback in the fight against hunger and more than 20 million people could swell the ranks of poverty.
