European producers and various industries urge delay in entry into force of Deforestation Regulation with 100 days to go and still no clear enforcement tools

The undersigned organizations, representing European primary producers and various industries within the scope of the European Union Regulation against Deforestation (EUDR), fully support the goal of eradicating deforestation and forest degradation. We recognize the importance of the world's forests in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable raw materials and supply chains, as well as our responsibility to preserve them. However, less than 100 days after the entry into force of the obligations for operators, traders and competent authorities, we continue to face serious legal and market uncertainties.
