G20 agriculture ministers meet in Brazil to discuss global food security challenges

G20 agriculture ministers, leaders of international organizations and scientists are meeting in Mato Grosso, Brazil, to discuss the challenges facing agriculture in areas such as food security, sustainability, technological innovation and adaptation to climate change. This meeting, part of the G20 ministerial meeting, will serve as preparation for the Leaders' Summit in November. Manuel Otero, Director of IICA, will participate with a presentation on sustainable agriculture. The meeting highlights the role of international trade and family farming in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
