Description

GrainChain, a US-based technology startup founded in 2013, chose Honduras as the testing ground for its coffee module, becoming the first country in the region to adopt the technology. Its cloud-based, blockchain and IoT-enabled system manages pre- and post-harvest processes, enabling the tracking and recording of beans from production to marketing. This technology has the potential to expand to the rest of Central America due to market similarities.
