Description

This document highlights the productive potential of the province of Catamarca, Argentina, prioritizing three types of activities to promote in the future. First, traditional activities such as fruit production, livestock, textile sector and metalliferous mining. Second, incipient development activities such as regional food specialties and clothing manufacturing. Finally, emerging activities oriented towards new technological paradigms such as the lithium value chain, renewable energies and knowledge economy. The document analyzes opportunities and challenges for each sector, considering the geography, history and resources of the province.
