Green production indicators: a guide to advance towards sustainable development

This document presents a methodological guide for the design and collection of harmonized indicators on sustainable production and green technologies in companies in Latin America and the Caribbean. It proposes a System of Green Production Indicators (SIPV) and a survey module to collect data from manufacturing companies. It was prepared by ECLAC and IDRC of Canada as a result of the project "Towards a set of indicators for greener production". The guide seeks to facilitate the production of comparable data on green production in the region to inform industrial and environmental policies.
