Description

Brazil has asked the European Union to postpone the implementation of its law against deforestation, scheduled for the end of 2024, and to revise its approach to avoid damaging Brazilian exports. According to the Brazilian government, the regulation could affect up to a third of its exports to the EU, valued at around US$15 billion.
