Description

The presentation highlights the importance of public policies to foster sustainable development in agri-food systems. Through policy dialogues, agri-food development projects seek to promote positive policy changes. However, it notes that there is little guidance on how to organise inclusive and effective policy dialogues in this context. The ideal approach should promote innovation through collaborative, inclusive and well-designed policies. In this context, it introduces a training guide composed of six modules, based on TAP-AIS experiences, aimed at both a technical and non-technical audience. This guide provides tools on how to organise multi-stakeholder policy dialogues to promote innovation in agri-food systems.
