Description

Eugenio Díaz-Bonilla's presentation at the Workshop: Towards a new generation of public policies for agri-food systems, held at the IICA-Panama Representation on August 28 and 29, 2024, highlights the importance of an adequate institutional framework to address problems such as food security and technological changes. The presentation addresses the need for a more complex and coordinated institutional framework, especially in a context of globalization and uncertainty, and proposes a systemic approach to agri-food systems, with a programmatic framework aligned with long-term objectives and the implementation of operational mechanisms that involve all actors in the systems.
