Endogenous Adoption of International Agri-food Practices and Standards

Highlights the differences in global agricultural standards and how these can lead to trade conflicts. With growing concerns about climate change and the demand for food standards, global food systems are evolving in diverse directions. The study analyzes the adoption of international agri-food practices, focusing on the economic trade-off between market access and adoption costs, using the EU's Farm to Fork and Biodiversity Strategies as an example.
