Public Consultation: Deforestation and forest degradation – reducing the impact of products placed on the EU market

The consultation will contribute to an impact assessment that will investigate the appropriateness of a range of demand-side measures to address deforestation and consumption-related forest degradation in the EU. The objective of the consultation is twofold: to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are identified and have the opportunity to participate in the consultation; and to seek their views on possible additional measures at EU level.
