Description

Uruguay has a long history of agricultural censuses, having carried out eighteen censuses from 1852 to 2000, including fourteen general and four livestock censuses. In 2011, the Directorate of Agricultural Statistics (DIEA) of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries carried out the XIX General Agricultural Census, in compliance with legal provisions.
