Presentation: International trade and global food security: 3rd meeting of the G20 Working Group on Agriculture (MPA)

The presentation, made within the framework of the 3rd meeting of the G20 Working Group on Agriculture (MPA) in Session 2 on international food trade and global food security, organized by Insper Agro Global, IICA and B20, addresses the current situation of global food and nutritional security. It identifies the key factors that affect it, such as climate change and economic crises, and highlights the importance of international trade in food distribution and its role in food stability and security. In addition, the structure and trends of international food markets are analyzed, as well as the public policies necessary to optimize trade and improve global food security, including regulations and international trade agreements.
