20/12/2023
Description
This report aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of risk management systems in Latin American countries, with a particular focus on strengthening the management of Global Catastrophic Risks (GCRs). GCRs are defined as those risks with the potential to inflict serious harm to human welfare on a global scale. While a number of risks have been identified that meet this definition, this paper focuses on risks associated with artificial intelligence, biological risks, and abrupt sunlight reduction scenarios.
