Description

The results of the study suggest that low agricultural mechanization is mainly due to factors such as the low technical level of users, insufficient income of producers and lack of access to credit and technical assistance. Additionally, it discusses how socioeconomic and cultural conditions, as well as the geographic diversity of Peru, affect the adoption of mechanization technologies. Despite efforts to identify and promote appropriate technologies for each group of producers, the study concludes that agricultural mechanization in Peru needs a national strategy that addresses these limitations comprehensively to improve the efficiency and productivity of agriculture in the country.
