Description

The report on agricultural mechanization in Latin America details how the region, despite having experienced advances in agricultural productivity in the last five decades, still lags behind developed countries. It focuses on the importance of adopting modern machinery and technology to boost agricultural production and addresses the variability in the adoption of these technologies across the region, which is influenced by factors such as farm size and the availability of imported machinery. . The report suggests that better management and deeper study on the incorporation of these technologies could help close the productivity gap between Latin America and the most developed nations.
