Description

Bogotá, along with some nearby municipalities, will face water rationing due to declining reservoir levels, a situation aggravated by the El Niño climate phenomenon. The rationing plan involves 24-hour water cuts in specific sectors of the city. The authorities will evaluate, every 15 days, the levels of rainfall and savings to decide if the measures are maintained. The objective is to increase the storage levels of the Chingaza System, which supplies 70% of the city's water and is in a state critical
