Mexico and the United States agree on electronic certification of meat merchandise

Mexico and the United States signed a letter of intent to implement electronic certification of meat merchandise between both countries. This agreement aims to facilitate and secure import and export processes, promoting the use of digital tools to protect the integrity, efficiency and authenticity of export certificates. The aim is to progressively reduce the use of paper and improve agricultural health safety and consumer health.
