Solutions based on nature, gender and adaptation to climate change

This document synthesizes available knowledge and good practices on nature-based adaptation solutions with a gender perspective, with the aim of guiding IFAD's interventions in agriculture and rural development, aligned with the objectives of its Adaptation Policy. Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (IFAD, 2012), and its respective Gender Action Plan 2019-2025 (IFAD 2019), as well as the Strategies on the Environment and Climate Change (2019-2025) ( IFAD 2018), and Biodiversity (2022-2025) (IFAD 2022).
