Description

The AMEXCID-FAO Mesoamerica Without Hunger program in Nicaragua collaborates in the creation and implementation of policies related to food security, seed production, safety and agroecology. In addition, it strengthens institutional capacities and promotes innovative technologies and community practices. This publication summarizes the results achieved from 2015 to 2022, highlighting advances in public policies, training and regulations. Facilitating factors, lessons learned and future opportunities are detailed, especially in the area of community seed Banks.
