Description
The study aims to develop a small-scale structural economic model to analyze the possible negative impacts of climate change on economic activities in Latin America and the Caribbean. This model addresses the interactions between the effects of climate change, greenhouse gas mitigation, and the economic and social dynamics of the region. Its objective is to contribute to the formulation of just climate transition strategies, recognizing the need to incorporate the links between macroeconomics and environmental sustainability in long-term development strategies. The model, with a simple design, allows us to understand the underlying logic of the impacts and their transmisión channels.
