Description

This study arises from the proposal of SECAC and SIECA to promote trade integration between Central America and the Caribbean. Carried out in collaboration with the FAO and the IDB, it seeks solutions for food security, employment and economic improvement in both regions. It is structured in six sections: introduction, analysis of commercial trends, market access conditions, research methodology, identification of products with commercial potential, and limitations and challenges. It concludes with recommendations to improve food security.
