Description

The reports provide a situation analysis of the provision of drinking water and sanitation services, including renewable energy for the sector. The socioeconomic situation and the regulatory and institutional framework for access to drinking water and sanitation were analyzed. In addition, the main actors and initiatives were identified, such as policies, programs and projects in this area, as well as the main barriers to achieving full coverage in drinking water and sanitation at the national and municipal levels. In this regard, the report presents a detailed analysis of the energy sources used for the extraction, treatment and distribution of drinking water.
