Description
International trade is vital for global and regional food security by improving efficiency and offering food at lower prices. In Latin America and the Caribbean, agricultural trade accounts for 24.4% of exports and 9.5% of imports in 2021. This analysis examines intraregional trade, assessing its achievements and limitations, and offers recommendations to take advantage of opportunities for expansion.
