Description

The interaction between science and technology agencies and development poses a crucial challenge that urges these institutions to reevaluate their role and position in relation to public policies. This book, given the relevance and quality of the texts collected, offers a valuable perspective for analyzing the connection between these agencies and public policies, addressing the classic question about the relationship between knowledge generation and policies. In this work, 34 authors representing various disciplines, geographical locations and knowledge-generating institutions offer reflections, approaches, methodologies, conceptual problematizations, systematized experiences and analysis of specific policy cases, thus contributing to the understanding and improvement of this crucial interrelationship.
