Heterogeneous preferences and the efects of incentives in promoting conservation agriculture in Malawi

The study examines farmers' willingness to adopt Conservation Agriculture (CA) to enhance food security in developing countries. It employs discrete choice experiments to understand preferences and finds that, while some long-term agronomic benefits are evident, many farmers require incentives for adoption.
