Farmers’ participation in the development of land use policies for the Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia

This study delves into the role of farmers in the implementation of land use policies in the Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia. It evaluates farmers' awareness of existing land use policies, their participation in policy development, and their perceptions of policy impacts. Through interviews with local farmers and stakeholders from various governmental institutions, the research reveals a significant gap between farmers and local government regarding policy development.
