Description
Russia announced on October 29 its suspension in the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which will negatively impact Ukraine, its customers and global food prices. This will affect food security in the Middle East and North Africa, as they rely on Ukraine for wheat and grains, especially in winter to supplement their crops. This disruption could increase food insecurity and exacerbate political tensions in the región.
